yana: "we are seeing here some great games with high level players from europe.it's going to be hard but i'm willing to fight." johnathan: "it's a game with various speeds and totally different pace. it's a combination of speed, power and agility all in one game". reuven: "it demands physical ability as well as mental ability to think quick and analyze the game at the split of second" nir: "this is a knock-out tournament, if you don't hold your game - you lose. that's why the players here give everything on court" nir: "five years ago we've decided to hold an international junior tournament in israel, which means holding on to very high european standards"

nir: "this year we broke the record with participants from 17 countries including israel with total 140 players. we have u11, u13, u15 & u19" daniel: "my name is daniel bedrak i'm from kibbutz hatzor yana: "my name is yana molodetsky, i'm almost 18" johnathan: "my name is johnathan levit, i'm from benyamina, started playing when i was 7 and i'm 16 years old"

daniel: "my name is daniel chislov, i'm 19 years old from ramat gan. currently national champion in senior doubles and also u19 national champion in singles and doubles" nir: "badminton is still a small sport in israel we have about 1000 players all across the country" aviv: "people are starting to know what badminton is. if 10 years ago you asked people in the national sports academy "what is badminton?", 90% wouldn't know. but now we are growing and i hope that we will continue to do so in the future" yana: "for me it's a way of living and i'm used to it. it's waking up in the morning and knowing that i have training or a tournament it's always number 1 thing on my mind, more than school or friends. daniel: "i'm living it and takes most of my days. that's how i plan my life". heli: "i wake up in the morning and go to school and then to badminton practice until the afternoon, and the same tomorrow" i practice on sunday tuesday, thursday, friday and saturday reuven: "slowly you see the kids start to come earlier (to practice) and they don't want to leave and just watch the senior team play" daniel: "once you start you can't stop, it's just so addictive and fun"

nir: "you're on court for 45 minutes, with high pulse and you must be calm, cool and with strong mentality, leon: "that's international level organization, with the courts and umpires. you don't usually see that at the national tournaments" naor: "david and i just won first place in an international tournament here in israel. i can't describe it because it's such a great honor" dana: "it was hard but i made it. i beat the inner enemy which is the most important thing in the game" nir: "we are at the peak of the tournament, the finals of the european circuit tournament u19, it's going to be hot!" yoni: "we had a great tournament, at the first round we took on a very strong pair who made it to the singles final" nir: "we had an amazing tournament, even those who usually check us on every detail gave us compliments" what's the thing you wish for the most? heli: "to be a world champion"

daniel: "since i was young a i always had the dream to be best" yana: "the main ambition is the olympics, but there's a long way" daniel: "...to succeed in badminton and reach the world top level. qualify for the olympics and maybe even bringing a medal for israel" nir: "i pray that people will see that in israel there is a very good level of badminton. in the future i would like to see 30 countries come to take part"
